The fee for full participation in the symposium (including reception, coffee breaks, snacks, conference materials) is 50 €.
Please pay in cash on site. Receipts will be available.
Students are welcome to attend all talks free of charge.

We will have a reception at the Orangerie on 21 October, from 18:10 to 19:30, after which we will have a reading by award-winning poet and novelist Lavinia Greenlaw (http://laviniagreenlaw.org/), titled Unstable Regions.
There will be a conference dinner at Mireo restaurant (http://mireo-erlangen.de/restaurant/) on 22 October, starting at 19:30.
Both events will have vegetarian meal options.
Please inform us if you have any other dietary requirements.

Getting to Erlangen:
The nearest airport to Erlangen is Nuremberg (NUE: https://www.airport-nuernberg.de/english).
There is a subway (U-Bahn) from the airport to Nuremberg’s main train station (Hauptbahnhof).

Erlangen is approximately 30 minutes north of Nuremberg by train. Trains run several times per hour.
Munich airport is not far from Erlangen (MUC: http://www.munich-airport.de/en/consumer/).
Intercity buses run from MUC to Erlangen and back, several times on most days. These can be easier and more affordable than the train: http://www.munich-airport.de/en/consumer/anab/bus/

In Erlangen:
There is a taxi stand at the Erlangen main train station.
All conference hotels are 10-15 minutes’ walk from the station.

The conference material will include local maps and lists of restaurants.
